Most delivery apps in India require you to have an Indian Phone Number. They use it for login and checkout during their OTP (One Time Password) verification flow. This is generally a constraint for people outside of India. However if you have everything setup, we recommend you actually use the partners directly.
We role-up the fees for our dispatcher and delivery partner and show it as one single fee called the 'Delivery Fee' at checkout.
70% of the tip goes to the delivery partner, who later distributes it to the kitchen and delivery executive. We do not have a say in this. 30% of the tip goes to a Foodtoindia dispatcher.
No. We are in no way associated with any delivery app or partner in India.
Our service works in more than 50 cities and towns throughout India - from major metros to towns. To see if your city is covered, add a Recipient with city/town, and search for a Restaurant.
We currently support ordering from anywhere within the United States, including Hawaii. Support for more countries is coming soon. Send us an email at support@foodtoindia.com if you would like a particular country to be supported.
We show the approximate delivery time before you place the order. We recommend choosing restaurants where delivery time is between 25-45 minutes.
If for some reason your food delivery is delayed beyond 1 hour after you place the order with us, we will give you a chance to cancel the order.
You can order from restaurants that are currently closed. We are working a more sopisticated scheduling system which we will launch soon.
